Local 276 is a great home for local musicians.
Local 276 boasts a membership of 110 professional musicians dedicated to playing their hearts out for their fans. Some bands and acts include Moondance, Touch of Class, The Wild Turkeys, Donna Tremblay (Shania Twin), Blues Harvest, The Resinators, Midway, Boneyard, Barb Wired, Woods of Ypres and many more. At our Local, we welcome all artists whether you are a symphony player, recording artist or weekend warrior.
And yes we are members of a union! However, the "union" of today is much different than it was even ten years ago. Through our Local office and our officers at large in the community, we offer services and support for your musical career. If you or your band is looking for full coverage insurance for instruments and gear, good hotels and restaurants while on tour or information on engagement contracts, we can offer advice and guidance.
